October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month

October is breast cancer awareness month and OrchardCorset.com is proud to support breast cancer research! Join with us in our hopes that we will soon find a cure!

For every pink corset (#CS-015) sold and for every item that is custom dyed pink, we will donate $5 to the Susan G. Komen foundation.

To help, all you need to do is pick one or more items from our "Think Pink" section. Look for a small pink ribbon next to each participating item. Add one or more of these items to your cart, complete your transaction and we'll do the rest!

Once you're done with the transaction, come back here to let us know how you've helped to find a cure, make your portion of the donation in honor of someone, or tell us how you've been touched by breast cancer. My grandma was diagnosed with breast cancer about 15 years ago. She went through every treatment imagine-able and was finally in remission after a 2-year battle. After 7 years her cancer came back, but this time it was in her bones. She lived for a mere 6 months after her second diagnosis, but it was long enough to see her first great grandchild born. I know she's loving everybody from up in heaven, and she's probably got the biggest set of angel wings ever. But I still wish she was with us.

Every day I miss her, and every day I think about what life would be like now with the grandmother who made everybody feel like they were her favorite. I have a child of my own who will be turning 5 a week before the 9th anniversary of her death and one child on the way. They will never get to know the woman in my life who let me know she loved me without ever having to say it. Grandma Marty Erho, I miss you.
