Corset 101: Lacing with a Friend
Welcome to our latest video tutorial. In this installment we will show how to lace up your corset when you have someone there to help. Keep in mind that wearing your corset should NEVER be painful! Your corset should feel snug and provide support and compression. Communicate with your "lacer" when you feel like your corset is the right tightness.
In this video, Danielle is lacing me into a CS-305 Red Leather Underbust Corset. I have been breaking this corset in for a couple of days and it's really starting to shape to my body well. We recommend to our customers to begin by hooking the second pin and loop on your busk, as it is better for the corset. It's really important to have your corset very loose to avoid straining the boning. A brand new corset can be tricky to fasten the first couple of times. Just be patient and know that it will get easier!
If any of our readers have any other tips, advice or questions on lacing with a friend, please post them! We have had many requests for a tutorial on how to lace yourself into a corset. That video is in the works and should be available shortly. |
